About me

Artem Protsenko — Jyotish and Vastu practitioner

For over 15 years, I have helped people find answers in difficult situations, understand their strengths and make decisions — in clear language, without scare tactics or vague claims.

Knowledge is tested in lifeThat is why I speak not only about my training, but also about my own experience.

I first encountered Jyotish as a teenager. At the time, I was especially concerned about my personal life: I wanted to understand why events were unfolding as they were and what I could do about them.

I was also fascinated by the possibility of seeing a person's destiny and life path. My first consultations with astrologers were disappointing rather than helpful — I did not receive clear, useful answers. That was when I first understood how important it is to know how a practitioner works and who they have studied with.

Jyotish truly began to open up to me later, through systematic study. Scattered curiosity gradually became a practice with clear reasoning and rules for checking conclusions.

“It matters to me that a chart does not eclipse your life after a consultation, but helps you see it more fully.”

That is why I do not begin a consultation with a long list of technical terms. I first clarify the question, then analyse the chart and relate the conclusions to your actual situation.

Experience and life in India

01 · PRACTICE

From a personal question to a profession

In more than fifteen years of practice, I have analysed over 3,000 charts concerning relationships, careers and business, periods of change and difficult decisions. The number is not what matters in itself: this work has taught me to see how similar indications may be lived very differently, to ask more precise questions and not to rush to a conclusion based on a single factor.

02 · INDIA

Two years immersed in another culture

I lived in India for two years. That experience allowed me to encounter the tradition not only through books and study, but also in everyday life.

More than a profession

Practice begins with the way I live

This is my foundation and my personal choice, which I never impose on clients: during a consultation, we focus on your life and your questions. I have been vegetarian since the age of fifteen; I do not drink alcohol or smoke. I have received initiation in the Vaishnava tradition, study the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam, and at various times have given lectures on Vedic texts.

My consultations follow a few simple principles: never judge the person, never impose a decision, never make categorical pronouncements and always address difficult matters with care.

My task is not to impress you with the complexity of the knowledge, but to apply it to real life with care and precision.

01A personal turning point

When knowledge becomes personal

How Jyotish accompanied one of my important decisions

At one point, analysing my chart became one way for me to understand a previous relationship and decide to leave it. Later, I used Jyotish as an additional guide at the beginning of my relationship with my future wife.

We looked at compatibility: the strengths of the relationship, areas where compromise might be needed and matters that would be important to discuss. The analysis did not make the decision for us, but it helped us structure the questions. We also selected a date for our wedding.

This experience strengthened my approach: an analysis is useful when it helps a person see the conditions surrounding a decision more clearly, while leaving responsibility for the choice with them.

I understand this experience both as a consultant and as someone who has turned to a chart during a difficult time.

Vastu in my practice

Why I began practising Vastu

We used Vastu principles when choosing the flat where we now live and the office where I work. After moving and starting work in the new space, I noticed changes in my income, well-being and inner confidence, although I do not separate the influence of Vastu from the other changes taking place at that time. For me, this is first and foremost an experience of applying the method to real spaces.

I studied Vastu with students of two masters of the tradition — Dr N. H. Sahasrabuddhe and Dr Sthapati Ganapati. I now offer separate Vastu consultations and combine Vastu with Jyotish where appropriate.

Tradition and study

Why I continue to study

My first significant teacher was Ernst Wilhelm. Since 2021, I have been studying at SIVA on a programme connected with Sanjay Rath's Jyotish tradition. For me, this means relying on a consistent system of calculations and rules of interpretation, rather than on passing impressions.

In my work with clients, this means not presenting a first impression as a final conclusion and not reducing a complex picture to one convenient explanation.
